Start-Rite and The Daily Mile Foundation have teamed up to boost children’s health and happiness.

Our commitment to caring for children’s feet, and The Daily Mile’s drive to get children up and running, make our partnership the perfect fit. By sharing our expertise and research, we’re working together to improve children’s health and wellbeing from top to toe.

The Daily Mile has already encouraged more than 2.3 million children to jog, run or walk for 15 minutes a day. Primary and nursery schools across the world have discovered that doing The Daily Mile is not just good for children’s physical health – there are social, emotional and learning benefits too. What’s more, it’s free to do and easy to organise.

Watch our Marvellous Mile video to hear what teachers have to say about how The Daily Mile can improve children’s physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Keep children happy and active

More and more of our children are already taking part in The Daily Mile each day while they are at school. The following resources tell you all about it and give parents expert advice on choosing everyday footwear to look after children’s feet while they’re on the move.
