We’re excited to introduce our new Air-Rite products – a smart new technology that helps to banish sweaty feet to keep your little one's feet cool and fresh. This new design improves airflow around the feet for better ventilation without impairing the shoes capability to keep wet weather out.
Through thermal analysis research, which focuses on children’s feet, we’ve been able to pinpoint the exact areas where their feet retain the most heat. Air-Rite shoes allow air to flow in the localised area at the side of the shoe, rather than on the sole of the foot, where 50% of the walking motion is on the ground and air cannot escape. By targeting this area of the shoe, this new technology allows 10% more heat to escape than traditional methods, keeping the child’s foot cooler and more comfortable.
There are other breathable technologies out there, however Air-Rite is unique and a market first. You can find our new Air-Rite technology across our school styles in the primary and senior categories.
